Imphal, August 19 2024: Sheirengbashingee Apunba Lup (SHAL) has announced the names of people who will be honoured with different awards.

In a release, SHAL informed that Khaidem Imo has been selected for the best lyricist, Yumnam Suren best composer and Yangu Golmei best singer for the 2023 year whereas Hawaibam Jhandho and Huidrom Noren will be presented best lyricist, Thoudam Kameshwar and AK Yangoi with best composer and Sagolsem Sanathoi and Heisnam Raghumani best singer awards for the year 2024 .

Moreover, the Moirangthem Pishak Tombi Ningsnihg Mana, 2024 will be handed over to Mayanglambam Su-mati for her book 'Ho Purnima Hiyangeigi Purnima' .

The awards will be distributed on the occasion of 14th foundation day of SHAL which will be celebrated as 'Sheirengbashingee Numit', it added.

Meanwhile, Writers' Club Manipur, Nambol, informed that its 'Khaidem Tomba Sahitya Mana 2024 will be awarded to drama book 'Daku Ningthou Herachandra' penned by Yengkhom Nilachandra.

The award consisting of Rs 25,000 in cash, stole and citation Will be distributed on the occasion of 30th foundation day celebration of the club.
