Imphal, January 10 2022: In view of the increasing cases of infection by Omicron variant of Covid-19 in the country, the District Magistrate, Bishnupur has initiated several precautionary measures in the district including imposition of night curfew from 9pm to 5 am.

An order issued by Bishnupur DM L Bikram on Monday said that all shops and commercial establishments can open from 10 am to 4pm and shops selling fish, poultry and poultry products, milk and fresh milk products from 8am to 1pm.Moreover, shopping malls, eating areas of hotels or restaurants and cinema halls/entertainment halls should be restricted to 50 per cent capacity, the order directed, while adding that gymnasiums and fitness centres may open from 5am to 12 noon.
