Imphal, February 08 2025: ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Imphal West, organised the screening of the third episode of 'Krishi Choupal' at its office premises on Saturday.

The event was attended by senior scientist & head of ICAR-KVK Imphal West Dr Laishram Kanta, SMS (agricultural extension) Dr Th Motilal, SMS (plant breeding) S Gunamani, SMS (agronomy) Dr Lydia Zimik, and SMS (agronomy) Dr Ch Roben.

During the event, Dr L Kanta stated that the In -tegrated Farming System (IFS) plays a vital role in enhancing farm productivity and sustainability.

As part of the programme, essential agricultural inputs were also distributed to the participants to support their farming activities.

A total of 30 participants, including 25 farmers, took part in the session, engaging in discussions on innovative agricultural practices highlighted in the episode.

The screening aimed to enhance farmers' awareness and promote the adoption of improved farming techniques for sustainable agriculture in the region, informed a statement from ICAR-KVK, Imphal West.
