Imphal, December 05 2022:
School Management and Development Committee (SMDC) of Sora High School convener Md Tajuddin has strongly condemned the allegation levelled against school head master Md Azad Khan by Pangal Students' Organisation (PSO) .
Terming allegation of PSO as baseless and unfounded, Md Tajuddin said in a statement that two leaders of PSO came to the school in November this year and left the school after informing purpose of their visit to some teachers.
Though PSO leaders wanted to know details of school building, infrastructure and number of students and teachers, headmaster Md Azad Khan was told through mobile phone just after 30 minutes they left the school to come to PSO office at Hatta one day to discuss about development.
As representative of the school, SM Roushan (P/T) was sent to PSO office but PSO leaders declined to hold talk with SM Roushan and insisted that headmaster Md Azad Khan must be present.
While Md Azad Khan was busy at work and unable to meet PSO leaders due to his hectic schedule, a video went viral on social media with serious allegation against Md Azad Khan, Md Tajuddin said in the statement and termed as unfortunate PSO's allegation against Md Azad Khan regarding Mid-Day Meal, computer and misappropriation of maintenance fund.
Md Tajuddin further said that Mid-Day Meal continues to be served regularly to students while there is no misappropriation of school maintenance fund.
For safe custody, computer set provided by the government for the school is being kept at Md Azad Khan's home after consulting with SMDC so that government property does not get damaged or lost, Md Tajuddin explained in the statement and strongly condemned the malicious statement of PSO.
