AR organises 'Day with Company Commander'

Imphal, November 19 2024: Assam Rifles organised "A Day with Company Commander" for students of schools in Shakpao village, with the aim of inspiring and motivating young minds while fostering nationalism and camaraderie.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the event witnessed participation from 58 locals, including 45 students, 3 teachers, and 10 parents from Shakpao and Ramva villages.

A variety of engaging activities were held throughout the day, including tug-of-war, singing, and cultural dance competitions, designed to encourage teamwork and cultural expression among the children.

Following the competitions, participants were given a guided tour of the Assam Rifles camp, offering insights into the daily life of personnel.

The day culminated in an award ceremony, where prizes were distributed to winners of the various competitions, added the PRO in a release.
