Imphal, July 10 2024: State Finance Department (Pay Implementation Cell) has sought evaluation of financial aspects, etc., regarding proposal to increase retirement age for the state government employees to 62 years vis-a-vis filling up of vacancies for placing before cabinet for its consideration.

State Finance Department (Pay Implementation Cell) instructed all administrative secretaries to furnish report/information to the Department by working out financial aspects, etc., to be incurred in connection with the enhancement of retirement age for the state government employees to 62 years.

The report/information may be furnished within July 31, it continued, while reminding that the state cabinet in its sitting held on February 24 decided to evaluate financial aspects, etc.
