Kangpokpi youth run to make fitness a lifestyle

Kangpokpi, September 04 2021: Youth from various places of Kangpokpi district pledged to do a plog run of 2 Kms in their surrounding areas and pay tribute to the father of the nation on October 2 as they participated in the Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 .

The run organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Kangpokpi under the theme, "Catch the rain where it falls, when it falls" was flagged off by additional SP (L/O) Kangpokpi Thangkhochon Haokip from Nute Kailhang before administering a pledge.

Around 30 youths pledged to do a plog Run for 2 Kms in their surrounding areas and took responsibility for keeping their surrounding clean as it helps in getting fresh air, reducing pollution, etc.

It also promotes awareness among the masses that an unclean environment leads to bad condition in a society and spreading diseases.

On the other hand, keeping the environment neat and clean help us to line a healthy life.

The run led by NKY Kangpokpi youth coordinator Ginbiakmuan Tombing culminated at DC office Kangpokpi after taking the plog run via Kangpokpi bazar along national highway 2 .
