Imphal, February 04 2025: Chhabi Sahayog Foundation marked its 6th foundation day alongside World Cancer Day with a special initiative dedicated to cancer warriors in the state.

The event, held in collaboration with Dev Desh Pratisthan, Mumbai, and Mon Indigenous Culture and Welfare Society, Arunachal Pradesh, aims to provide care and encouragement to cancer patients.

As part of the observance, the foundation distributed fruits and biscuits to 65 cancer patients at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, and 50 at Karkinos Manipur Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Imphal.

Joining the distribution programme, Prof (Dr) Yengkhom Indibor Singh, Dr Thangjam Nirpendra, Rajesh Siwakoti, and Dr Vivek Arambam, emphasised the significance of early detection, awareness, and comprehensive cancer care.

The foundation also organised similar programmes in Assam, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Navi Mumbai, and Pune.
