Jiribam DC asks DLOs to focus on performance

Jiribam, March 03 2025: Jiribam deputy commissioner Krishna Kumar, stated that district level officers (DLOs) and officials of various line departments should focus on performance in addition to discharging their normal duties.

He made this statement while chairing a DLOs' meeting held at the conference hall of the DC office on Monday.

During the meeting, Krishna Kumar reviewed various schemes and programmes undertaken by different line departments through PowerPoint presentations.

Emphasising that small initiatives taken by each officer could contribute to the holistic development of the district, he urged all staff to remain stationed at their designated postings and extend their services to the entire district to the fullest extent possible.

Highlighting the district administration's commitment to providing all necessary support, the DC encouraged officers to bring any challenges they face while rendering their services to the notice of the administration.

Stressing the importance of public awareness, Krishna Kumar asserted that every department should prioritise organising awareness programmes across different areas of the district.

He emphasised that officers should actively inform the public about new government schemes and programmes rather than confining themselves to their offices.

The DLOs' meeting was attended by additional DC Th Manoranjan, Jiribam/Borobekra SDO Laishram Roshan, along with BDOs, SDCs, and various DLOs .
