Recommendations invited for Jeevan Raksha Padak awards

Imphal, August 19 2024: The state's home department has invited proposals for eligible persons, if any, for Jeeven Raksha Padak Series of Awards-2024 along with relevant details specified in the format available on the website (www.awards.gov.in) on or before September 10.The invitation for proposals is made in reference to a letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs, received by the secretarial (home department).

The awards will be considered by awards committee within the period of two years from the date of performance of life-saving act.

Therefore, for the year 2024, any recommendations in respect of which the date of performance of the act falls prior to 01/10/2022 should not be forwarded.

A character and antecedents verification certificate should be furnished in each case in the proforma given by the ministry.
