DC reviews diarrhoea curb campaign

Senapati, July 19 2024: Senapati deputy commissioner Mamoni Doley, who is also chairperson of District Health Society (DHS), on Friday chaired a meeting of District Level Coordination Committee on Stop Diarrhoea Campaign 2024 at her office chamber.

During the meeting, the DHS chairperson took stock of the ongoing Stop Diarrhoea campaign in the district, where the cam paign launched on July 16 will continue till August 31.Apart from advising officials present to conduct proper data analysis during the campaign, the Doley also suggested that preparatory meeting be held prior to any upcoming to ensure that it runs smoothly.

As part of the campaign, medical officers of various health centres, along with ASHA and Angawandi workers, will distribute zinc tablets and ORS to all households having children aged 0-5 years along with explanation of proper hand washing and use of zinc tablets and ORS at Anganwadi centres and schools.

It may be also mentioned that zinc and ORS corners will be available in all healthcare facilities.
