Demonstration programme on technologies held

Imphal, November 08 2024: Under the sponsorship of Department of Science and Technology , Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC) organised a 'two-day demonstration cum popularisation of technologies in technology demonstration centre MASTEC' at the Council's Takyelpat complex on Thursday.

The inaugural function was attended by Science and Technology secretary Hungyo Worshang as chief guest and MASTEC director Dr L Minaketan Singh as president, while Department of Process and in their livelihood journey and as such, urged the participants to apply the knowledge gained during the programme into reality.

The training programme was participated by local entrepreneurs and progressive farmers.

Machines based on different technologies were also displayed on the occasion.

Food Engineering, College of Food Technology, CAU Imphal head Prof Ng Joykumar Singh, and Science and Technology joint secretary Chingakham Shachi were the guests of honour.

In his speech, Worshang expressed that the training programme will be of great help to new farmers.
