Chandel JJB, CWC offices inaugurated

Kakching, May 08 2025: The newly constructed offices of Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) and Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Chandel were inaugurated by social welfare secretary Ningthoujam Geoffrey on Thursday.

The programme was also attended by Chandel deputy commissioner Laishram Nandakumar, social welfare director Anna Arambam and ICDS joint director Anjali Chongtham.

Later, a team led by N Geoffrey visited the government-funded Children Home, Old Age Home, Shakti Sadan Home, Specialised Adoption Agencies and Anganwadi centres under Chandel district.

An interaction session of officers and staff of district Social Welfare Department with N Geoffrey was also facilitated at the DC, Chandel conference hall.
