Applications invited for essay competition

Imphal, May 27 2024: Directorate of Science & Technology has invited applications from interested headmasters/ principals of government recognised schools for nomination of students for participating in an Essay Writing competition organised by the Directorate in connection with World Environment Day, 2024 .

According to the notification issued by director Homila Hongrei on Monday, interested headmasters/ principals may nominate students from Class VI-IX (Junior Level) and Class X-XII (Senior Level) for participation in the essay competition on the theme of "Land Restoration, Desertification & Drought Resilience ", to be held at the auditorium of Manipur Science Centre, Takyelpat on June 5 at 10 am .

The last date of submission of application forms is June 4 at the Department of Science & Technology, Old Lambulane, Imphal.

The prescribed format can be availed from the DST office or on the website, www.dst.mn.in.
