TPC correspondent's daughter tops science seminar

The XLIV State Level Students' Science Seminar 2024 for high school students of Classes VIII to X was held on Monday at the conference hall, Samagra Shiksha, Manipur.
Sruty Wangjam, a class X student of Padma Ratna English School, Kakching, emerged as the best performer in the seminar.
She will represent Manipur at the National Level Students' Science Seminar 2024, scheduled to be held on November 26 at the National Science Centre, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Sruty is the daughter of Wangjam Sanjay, the Kakching correspondent of The People's Chronicle.
The seminar focused on the topic 'Artificial Intelligence: Potentials & Concerns', attracting young, enthusiastic minds across the state.
The event's first session was presided over by Manipur University Department of Computer Science associate professor Tejmani Sinam.
He also shared his insights on the significance of the Artificial Intelligence.
The seminar showcased the talent and innovative thinking of the state's youth and underscored the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future.
