Senapati, July 14 2021:
The district administration of Senapati led by DC Mahesh Chaudhari and SP M Pradip Singh along with members of Karong Senapati Town Committee (KSTC) inspected shops and business establishments operating in Senapati town on Thursday.
The drive was carried out in accordance to an order issued by the district magistrate asking all vaccinated shopkeepers/traders to display their vaccination certificate at a prominent location outside their shops and shopkeepers who had not vaccinated to paste Covid-19 negative results certificate outside their shops which is to renew after every 15 days.
Almost all non-local shopkeepers were found to have been vaccinated during the inspection whereas all unvaccinated have reportedly been given necessary warning.
The division of area under Senapati district headquarters into different zones and the roster permission for coming to Senapati bazaar by people residing in different sub-divisions for shopping/marketing as per an order issued earlier on June 12 is to be enforced until further orders.
As such, all shops have been advised to continue with the odd even routine for opening of shops.
In this regard, auto and taxi drivers have also been asked to display their vaccination certificates.
Those unvaccinated drivers have been asked to display Covid-19 negative results before starting to ply and should renew the certificate after every 15 days to continue plying as
public transport.
