Imphal, December 20 2024: The JAC Office Assistant Recruitment 2021, Education Department has urged for declaring the results of the written test at the earliest, and warned of intense agitations in case the authority does not heed their plea.

In a press meet held at Manipur Press Club here on Friday, JAC convenor Lokeshwar Mais-nam lamented that the results of the written test conducted in November, 2021 to recruit 291 people for the office assistant posts, continue to remain undeclared even after four years.

According to Lokeshwar, a total of 5500 candidates had appeared for the test.

He lamented that there has been no positive response till date despite repeated requests made to the minister and department concerned to declare the results.

"Many of the candidates are now over the age limit," he pointed out and appealed to the authority concerned to declare the results at the earliest.

He then cautioned that in case the authority fail to heed their demand, the JAC would launch various forms of intense agitations in due course.
