Tayama Trust celebrates foundation day

Kakching, July 08 2024: Tayama Charitable Trust, Kakching celebrated its 13th Foundation Day at the auditorium of Representatives of Lois (RoL), at Kakching Chumnang Leikai on Monday.

As part of the celebration, the Trust extended financial assistance to students from poor financial backgrounds and those displaced by the violence and currently staying in relief camps.

The celebration was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police, Kakching Thokchom Vikramjit as chief guest, Tayama Charitable Trust (TCT) founder president Mayanglambam Yaima (Tayama) as president, and social worker Yambem Satya Singh and Trust advisor Naorem Chandramani as guests of honour.

During the celebration, Trust president Tayama extended monetary aid to 12 students from poor families from Kakching Ward no 1 to 12, and around 11 displaced students staying in various relief camps in the district, who passed this year's Class X examination.
