Assam Rifles provides medical aid

Assam Rifles provided lifesaving medical assistance to Ramila (70) and Anthony (60) of Nungshang village, who suffered from mushroom poisoning.
Having accidentally consumed poisonous mushrooms, the two individuals experienced serious food poisoning symptoms, prompting their family members to urgently seek assistance from Assam Rifles.
Responding promptly, Assam Rifles facilitated immediate transport of both patients to their base, where a medical team initiated emergency treatment, delivering first aid to counteract the poisoning.
Once stabilised, Ramila and Anthony were transferred to the District Hospital in Ukhrul for further treatment and observation, according to PRO IGAR (S) .
