Health kits distributed to senior citizens

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president and Wangkhem MLA Keisham Meghachandra and One Home Foundation, Wangkhem AC along with Unit of Science & Educational Development (UNISED), IIT Kanpur under the support of Oil India Limited distributed health kits to the elderly people at Hayellabuk Upper Primary School ground on Wednesday.
The distribution programme conducted as part of Oil India Limited's corporate social responsibility was attended by MLA Meghachandra as chief guest and Wangkhem Block Congress Committee president Keramat Ali as president while UNISED, IIT Kanpur chief advisor Md Altab Khan, MPCC spokesperson N Bhupenda, general secretaries Md Wahidur Rahaman and Md Amir Hussain, MLA's wife K Robita Leima, Thoubal District Committee vice-president Md Firoj, Wangkhem Block Mahila Mandal president K Kunjarani Devi, former Wangkhem ZP member W Leimaton Devi, former Charangpat ZP member W Mema Devi, Wangkhem Block Committee minority president Md Najir Ahamed and advisor Longjam Manihar were present as guests of honour.
Health kits including protein, vitamin and iron tablets worth Rs 2000 each were distributed to 118 elderly people of Hayellabuk village.
