NRFM punishes drug peddler

Imphal, May 27 2024: As part of the outfit's campaign to uproot drugs from the land, the armed National Revolutionary Front Manipur (NRFM) reportedly punished a drug peddler named Khorimayum Ningtheng alias Dipu Sultan, 26 of Kairang Chingya Leikai.

According to a spokesperson of NRFM, Khorimayum Ningtheng, son of late Khorimayum Litawar, was rounded up by the outfit along with some quantities of Brown Sugar and subsequently punished for his illegal acts.

Ningtheng was arrested by NAB in connection with drug trading in December, 2023, the spokesperson said and informed public that the outfit will launch punishment drive against drug users and peddlers.
