Bishnupur, December 08 2022: Impulse NGO Network, Shillong and New Life Foundation Manipur donated 10 beds, 10 mattresses, N95 masks and other medical kits to District Hospital, Bishnupur on Wednesday as part of their initiative to assist three district hospitals of the state.

Bishnupur DC Lourembam Bikram handed over the materials on behalf of the two NGOs and thanked them for their initiative towards improving infrastructure and equipment in the government hospitals.

CMO Dr L Raichandra also thanked the two NGOs for their assistance and appealed to them to cover CHCs, PHCs and PHSCs under such programmes.

New Life Foundation secretary Dr Lamabam Pishak said that the materials were donated by different organisations from across the globe when the two organisations made an appeal during the Covid-19 pandemic.

They are distributing those materials to three select district hospitals of the state, he said.
