Churachandpur prepares to speed up vaccination

The Churachandpur district administration and the district health authority have taken up necessary measures to boost the Covid-19 vaccination rate in the district.
The district administration has lined up plans to carry out vaccination at 35 polling stations within Saikot AC and another 35 in Churachandpur AC on Saturday.
It may be mentioned here that in an attempt to speed up vaccination in the poll bound districts of Churachandpur and Pherzawl, additional CS Vumlunmang Vualnam convened a review meeting on Thursday at the DCs office.
As discussed in the meeting, BLOs and ASH As are required to accompany the vaccination team in their respective polling stations and mobilise the public.
The team will also cover five schools and another five villages on Saturday apart from the fixed vaccination sites.
At the same time, the district health authority has opened Covid-19 vaccination centre for all (15-plus, 18-plus and precautionary dose) at District Immunization Centre near District Hospital daily from 10 am to 5 PM.
Churachandpur district presently has 78 (35 M & 43 F) active Covid-19 cases subsequent to detection of with 12 (7 M & 5 F) new cases on Friday.
The daily test positivity rate was recorded at 11.14 percent.
