AMNEMEA extends financial assistance

Imphal, February 02 2025: As part of its ongoing initiatives to extend financial assistance to its members in distress, All Manipur Newspaper & Electronic Media Employees' Association (AMNEMEA) provided cash aid to its member Yohen Naorem (24), son of Naorem Surjit of Kakwa Naorem Leikai.

According to a statement, a five-member team of AMNEMEA E-group led by Salky (SK) Pangambam visited Yohen at JNIMS emergency ward on Sunday and handed over the cash assistance.

Yohen suffered injuries in a road accident on Saturday night near Heirangoithong and was rushed to JNIMS, before being shifted to Kripadarshini Advanced Hospital.

Since its inception on May 20, 2018, AMNE-MEA has been providing financial assistance to its members in times of misfortune through monthly contribution of Rs 20 each by the members, the statement added.
