IPR minister pays surprise visit to DIPR office

Information and Public Relations (IPR) minister Dr S Ranjan Singh on Tuesday made a surprise visit at DIPR Head Office, Nityaipat Chuthek, Keishampat.
The minister was warmly received by IPR director H Balkrisna Singh, deputy director (Press) T Ramesh Singh, deputy director and DDO L Ashok Kumar Singh, other officers and staff of the directorate.
During his visit, Dr Ranjan inspected every section of the Directorate and held discussion on various topics with officers and staff during which officials pointed out grievances faced by them.
While assuring all possible initiatives to uplift and develop the directorate, the minister said DIPR is an important government machinery playing a pivotal role in connecting the government with the public.
At the same time, the IPR minister instructed the staff to perform their duty with diligence and full dedication.
The minister further advised the officers and staff to be punctual and work with sincerity.
The officers and staff also expressed their sincere gratitude to the minister for his visit.
