Khongjom Day rehearsal held at Kheba Ching

Thoubal, April 20 2025: All preparations and arrangements for the smooth observance of Khongjom Day 2025 on April 23 at Kheba Ching, Khongjom, have been completed, with a rehearsal for the upcoming tribute event conducted on Sunday.

The full dress rehearsal of the main programme took place at the Khongjom War Memorial, Kheba Ching, with the participation of Thoubal DC Ahanthem Subash and senior officials from the Manipur police department.

The state level observance of Khongjom Day on April 23 will be Attended by Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and chief secretary Prashant Kumar as chief guest and president respectively.

This year's event is planned to be grander and elaborate than in previous years.

Among others, special stalls will be set up by the internally displaced persons (IDPs) currently staying in relief camps across the state, showcasing various products made by them.
