KVK, Imphal East celebrates golden jubilee

Imphal, May 14 2024: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Imphal East (Andro) celebrated KVK's golden jubilee on Tuesday at its training hall.

In a release, KVK, Andro informed that the ceremonial torch was handed over to KVK Imphal East by CAU Extension Education director professor Ph Ranjit Sharma, which was passed on by KVK Churachandpur signifying the continuity of knowledge and commitment to agricultural process.

On the occasion, KVK Imphal East senior scientist & head in-charge S Molibala Devi highlighted the legacy of KVK in India since its establishment in 1947 and how KVK has been a centre of excellence in agriculture for the district.

In all, 18 farmers including women, from the district attended the celebration along with the staff.

The farmers were given hermitic storage bags and vegetable seeds to mark the occasion.
