IDPs asked to submit land details

Imphal, June 12 2024: Kakching deputy commissioner (DC) Rohit Anand has advised internally displaced persons (IDPs) residing in relief camps in Kakching district to submit details of their land in the prescribed format within June 18 to aid the administration take necessary measures for protection of the land as per the law.

In a notification issued Wednesday, DC Rohit informed that the notice has been issued as per the decision taken in the meeting conducted by the Supreme Court appointed Gita Mittal Committee in connection with the protection of properties of the IDPs in the state to formulate a specific policy.

For any clarification, IDPs should contact the SDOs concerned, it added.
