Noney, February 08 2025: The 'Fasting Programme cum Annual General Meeting' of SK Kaikhwang clan, Longmai village, was held on Saturday at the residence of SK Chariangbuan, former chairman of SK Kaikhwang, in Longmai Part-4 Peaceland, Noney district headquarters.

The event was organised under the theme, Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity" .

A special prayer session was conducted for the well-being of clan members, seeking spiritual and mental growth while also praying for peace and love to prevail within the community and beyond.

The elders partaking in the event encouraged the youth to uphold unity, show respect and honour towards their parents and mentors, and refrain from engaging in substance abuse such as drugs and alcohol.

They further urged the young er generation to maintain a healthy lifestyle, remain disciplined, and pursue their academic and professional aspirations With dedication and hard work.

During the meeting, several key resolutions were passed, including the preservation and protection of the community's rich heritage sites, which have been safeguarded by ancestors for generations.

The meeting also resolved to promote quality and value-based education to foster academic excellence and character development among the youth.
