JAC of AMTUC & AMGEO warns of legal action

Imphal, October 03 2021: Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of All Manipur Trade Unions' Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Govt Employees' Organisation (AMGEO) has warned of taking recourse to legal action if the activities reported in some local dailies that an Interim Council has been formed and a special general body meeting will be held are continued, as it is against the constitution of the JAC.

In a release, JAC secretary general Laitonjairi Biken asked representatives of affiliated departments of the JAC not to attend any meeting called by the so-called Interim Council convener NIngocha Singh.

In spite of officiating organiser and functionaries of JAC, grouping by some people to form Interim Council and convening a special general body meeting in greed for posts and power cannot be accepted.

Do not create confusion about the JAC, it asserted.

JAC of AMTUC & AMGEO men tioned that a meeting of Central Executive Council will be held on October 9 at its Babupara office at 2 pm to discuss all the matters related to the JAC.

All the members of Central Executive Council, Core Committee, Consultative Committee, advisory board, legal advisor, Committee on Finance & Economic Affairs and all district branch office have been directed to attend the meeting on time.
