PREPAK-Pro, KCP, SOREPA salute 'martyred' trio

Imphal, February 03 2025: The proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak-Progressive (PREPAK-Pro) paid revolutionary salute to 'captain' Chirom Chiromcha, '2nd Lt' Salam Henthoiba and 'private' Moirangthem Athouba - who were recently martyred defending the territory of Manipur (Kangleipak) recently.

According to a PREPAK-Pro statement issued by assistant publicity secretary L Ningsingba, the valiant trio laid down their lives while countering continuous attacks on revolutionaries jointly carried out by Indian forces and their proxy army since January 27 .

"The supreme sacrifices made by the revolutionary trio will forever remain as bright stars in the history of revolutionary movement of the Kangleipak," said the outfit while also sharing the pain and grief of families of the martyred revolutionaries as well as to the revolutionary organisations they belonged to.

The proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) also extended revolutionary salute to 'captain' Chirom Chiromcha, '2nd Lt' Salam Henthoiba and 'private' Moirangthem Athouba, who laid down their lives in the ongoing battle along the Manipur (Kangleipak)-Myanmar border between the combined team of revolutionaries and the joint force of Indian Occupational Force (IOF) and its proxy army, KNA-B.According to a KCP statement, '2nd Lt' Salam Henthoiba of RPF/PLA made supreme sacrifice for the motherland while fighting the adversary forces on January 27, while 'captain' Chirom Chiromcha of UNLF/MPA and 'private' Moirangthem Athouba of KYKL/MYL too made similar sacrifice in the continuing battle on January 30.Condoling untimely demise of the three revolutionaries, the KCP statement issued by secretary-in-charge of information & publicity S Mangal said the supreme sacrifices made by the revolutionaries in the ongoing proxy war will inspire other revolutionaries to sustain the campaign for restoration of the lost sovereignty of Manipur (Kangleipak).

"Their demise will be great loss for the revolutionary organisations to which they belonged," the statement said, sharing the pain and grief of the families and organisations they were affiliated.

Meanwhile, offering the highest form of revolutionary salute to 'captain' Chirom Chiromcha, '2nd Lt' Salam Henthoiba and 'private' Moirangthem Athouba, who made the supreme sacrifices for the motherland in the ongoing battle along the Kangleipak (Manipur)-Myanmar border, the armed Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA), Kangleipak alleged that the revolutionaries lost their lives in the ongoing battle since January 27 between the combined team of revolutionaries and the combined force of Indian forces and their proxy army, KNA-B.Expressing solidarity with the grieving families of the martyred revolutionaries, the SOREPA statement issued by publicity and organisation secretary MC Yaiphabi condemned what it described as a 'dangerous tactic' by the Government of India to foster enmity and sow division among the different ethnic communities of Kangleipak (Manipur) and the region".

"The ongoing war along the Kangleipak (Manipur)-Myanmar border being waged jointly by India and its proxy force KNA-B' is part of the broader agenda to uproot revolutionary movement in Manipur.

However, revolutionaries valiantly fought the adversaries for several days and inflicted many casualties to Indian forces and KNA-B," the SOREPA claimed, while paying revolutionary salutes to the martyred revolutionaries.
