LMG cash aids commerce topper Aiena

Kakching, May 14 2024: Like Minded Group (LMG), Manipur presented Rs 10,000 to Aiena Naorem of Kakching Ningthou Leikai, who topped the commerce stream in the Higher Secondary Examination-2024 conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (CoHSEM) .

A team of LMG Manipur led by its publicity secretary Rakesh Naorem and secretary Ojit Sorokhaibam visited Aiena's house on Tuesday and handed over the amount to her in the presence of her father Naorem Biren Singh and mother Ibemchou Devi.

The LMG team, which also included many key members of the group, encouraged the topper to work harder for achieving more success in future.

Regarding the visit, secretary Ojit said that a photo of Aiena with her parents in front of their shabby house went viral on social media just after the declaration of HSE-2024 results on Tuesday evening.

After coming across the viral photo, executive committee of LMG Manipur decided to encourage the topper and accordingly handed over a memento and Rs 10,000 cash on Tuesday, he added.
