Applications invited for veterinary FA training

Imphal, June 21 2022: The Directorate of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Service ha,s invited applications from candidates interested in undergoing 1 (one) year veterinary Field Assistant (FA) Training Course at the Veterinary Field Training Centre, Khumbong for the academic session 2022-23 .

In a notification, director Ng Ibotombi informed that the prescribed application form shall be available on payment of Rs 100 only from the directorate with effect from June 22 .

The duly filled in prescribed application form along with the required testimonials/certificates and a demand draft for a value of Rs 800 for general and OBC candidates and Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates from any nationalised bank drawn in favour of the director along with the examination fee should be submitted within July 8 .

The notification further informed that the application forms will be issued till July 6 and submission of duly filled in applications will be accepted between July 4 and 8 .

Admit cards will be issued on July 14 and 15, The entrance test shall be held on July 17 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, the director informed, adding that venue of the examination shall be notified at the time of issuance of the admit card.

Candidates who have passed class 10 standard or equivalent exam in physics, chemistry and biology from a recognised board/council would be eligible for the examination.

Moreover, the candidate should attain 17 years and shall not exceed 25 years of age as on July 1, 2022, it further informed, and stated that the upper age limit shall be relaxed for 3 years in respect of OBC/ST/SC candidates.
