Kanggui, February 21 2014 :
Kuki Students' Organisation Sadar Hills (KSO-SH) vehemently condemned the alleged 'reign of terror' unleashed by 16 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector towards the villagers of S Bongyang, Saikul Sub Division Sadar Hills on February 17 and the subsequent arrested of Damkhosei alias Seipu Khongsai S/o (L) Ngamlhun Khongsai.
Thangminlen Kipgen, President KSO Sadar Hills said that on the fateful night of February 17 troops of 16 Assam Rifles who are on duty visited S Bongyang village and ordered the villagers to prepare meal for them as if the villagers are on their pay roll.
Nonetheless, the villagers at the request of the village chief unhesitatingly served them meal as the hill people in general are hospitable in nature and treated their guest decently in their own capacity.
However, later in the night at around 11:00 pm, the same AR troops covertly came back and arrested an innocent villager Damkhosei alias Seipu without producing any arrest memo and and claimed him to be an over ground activist of KLA activist on local papers, Thangminlen Kipgen said.
