Kakching, October 28 2014: District Council Administration of Autonomous District Council Chandel organised Teachers' Day Celebration at Mini Indoor Stadium in Chandel District Headquarters today.

Kothar, Additional Chief Executive Officer, ADC Chandel and TK.

Moshilpha, Inspector of Schools, ADC Chandel graced the celebration as the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Functional President respectively.

During the celebration, 10 teachers were conferred with the Best Teachers Award of the year and honoured by presenting a Certificates and gifts for their sincere and dedicated service.

Moreover, Retired teachers and family member of deceased teachers were also provided financial assistance during the function.

Yaima, Asst Teacher of Laiching Minou Primary School; Neithem Haokip, Asst.

Teacher of Khubung khunou Primary School; Lhingkhohoi Haokip, Asst.

Teacher of Gilgal Veng Primary School; Th.Angkhul, Asst.

The celebration was attended by around 700 Teachers including Head Masters and Head Mistress besides Assistant Inspectors and Deputy Inspectors of Schools under Autonomous District Council, Chandel.
