Henglep AC intending candidate hosts leaders' meet

Churachandpur, October 05 2021: Intending candidates from Henglep assembly constituency Letzamang on Tuesday hosted a leaders' meet at S Nahbil village playground which was attended by a large number of his supporters from different parts of the AC.

The programme arranged by Lalboi of S Nahbil village was participated by leaders from six areas of the constituency namely Thangting, Tuila, Loktak, Leimata, Santing and Khanpi.

Addressing the gathering, Letzamang stressed that he is going to contest the upcoming elections to help the people and take them to the path of development.

Terming the meeting as a preview of 2022 elections, he stated that this time round except for the six leaders no formal invitation was served, but he thanked the people for attending the meeting in large number and said this shows they still want him.

Letzamang further conveyed that apart from Chakpikarong under Chandel, Henglep is one of the most backward segments in the entire country and need to be developed on par with other areas.

"From now onwards let us not do things on the lines of clan and tribe and instead work in unison as other progressive segment candidates do," he exhorted, while informing his resolve to take up his campaign in full swing from January onwards.

He also talked about the need to keep God first, second the public and then others.
