State logs one new case, one recovery

Imphal, November 03 2022:
Number of Covid-19 active cases in the state remained static at 15 as on Thursday with government bulletins reporting one recovery and one new positive case from out of 122 samples tested in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 0.8 per cent.
The lone fresh case is a female resident of Kakching district.
Out of the 15 active cases, 11 are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,886 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 460 vaccine doses were administered taking the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,47,542, including 13,34,013 who have received the second dose and 2,74,366 jabbed with the precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49837), Imphal East (32060), Thoubal (10296), Churachandpur (11291), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9984), Senapati (2547), Ukhrul (3370), Kakching (6980), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1057), and Pherzawl (477) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (17), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5), and Pherzawl (0) .
