EMA Trust organises bike rally for peace

Kakching, February 02 2025:
Egalitarian Manipur of the Altruists (EMA) Trust in collaboration with Sanamahi Motors, Kakching Motors, Jashumati Devi Public Charitable Trust (Kakching) and Alliance for Development Alternative Manipur (ADAM), Kakching organised a bike rally on Sunday with a message for peace and soliciting support for children affected by the ongoing turmoil in the state.
The rally, which was flagged from Kangla, Imphal by JNIMS retired director Debendra Laishram, EMA Trust president retired colonial Shantikumar Sapam and actress Bala Hijam, covered Imphal, Moirang, Kakching, Thoubal and Canchipur before concluding at Kakwa
Pechu Lampak.
The rally was participated by 250 bikers from Royal Motors Manipur, Keishal Wolves Tribe MC, RE 650 Club Manipur, Native Throttlers, Salai Athouba Kangleipak, Meckley Royal Riders, Samadon Ayangba Riders Manipur, Hiyang Riders Manipur and Thangjing Thumpers, Moirang.
In Kakching district, the participants were received by Kakching Motors, Jashumati Devi Public Charitable Trust and ADAM/Angaan Ching Eco Park Management Committee at Angaan Ching Eco Park where they also planted of saplings.
Speaking on the occasion, retired colonel Shantikumar Sapam informed that the rally was initiated to spread the message of peace and seek help for supporting education and career of children affected by the turmoil.
The rally was also attended EMA Trust vice president Bijayalaxmi Rajkumari, secretary Phurailailatpam Umakanta, Kakching Motors (Royal Enfield) proprietor Naorem Saratkumar and others.
Meanwhile, ADAM presented Yes SHE (Sunday and Holiday for Environment) t-shirts to the EMA Trust office bearers.
