Position holders, subject topper of COMET feted

Imphal, April 27 2025: Altogether 27 students of COMET School, who secured positions and emerged subject toppers in the Higher Secondary Examination, 2025 conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (CoHSEM), were felicitated in a function held on Saturday at the school's Changangei Uchekqn campus.

The felicitation function organised by COMET school management committee and staff was attended by school's managing director Sanjenbam Samarjit, SIC COMET school managing director Shashikanta Heigrujam, director Irom Umakanta, advisor Yensenbam Tejkumar Singh, principal Thoudam Debachandra and vice-principal Nameirakpam Bobichandra Singh as presidium members.

Notably, Riya Khwairakpam of the school topped the science stream of the examination, results of which were declared Friday.

Other students, Silvia Lukram, Moneta Laishram, Tanika Yensenbam, Chinglembi Sorokhaibam, Elangbam Mangaleima, Angelita Laishram and Maibam Sapaba too bagged 3rd, 8th, 10th, 13th, 16th, 18th, and 19th position respectively in the same stream.

Two other students namely Dashika Maibam and Khuraijam Yaiphabi also shared 20th position in science stream.

Several students of the school also emerged subject toppers in English, Manipuri, biology, chemistry, computer science and health and physical sciences.

According to school director Irom Umakanta, a total of 631 students of COMET School appeared in the examination with 630 clearing the same to record a healthy pass percentage of 99.84.One student could not complete the examination due to health problem, said the director.
