Pambei-led UNLF pays revolutionary salute

The Pambei-led United National Liberation Front (UNLF) and its armed Manipur People's Army (MPA) offered revolutionary salute to the three revolutionaries martyred in a gun-battle with adversary forces along the Manipur-Myanmar border on October 23.According media coordinator Charairongba Thokchom of the Pambei-led UNLF, three brave revolutionaries lost their lives during the gun battle with the 'enemy' on October 23 .
The martyred revolutionaries were RPF/PLA Capt Oinam Gulu alias Babu, son of Oinam Kunjo and Pishak of Kadamtala, Jiribam, and PREPAK (Progressive) Capt Wahengbam Sopaiba alias Saratkumar, son of W Deba and Memcha of Hiyanglam Awang Leikai and L/Cpl Nongmaithem Nongdon alias Bonysana, son of N Raju and Sangita of Wangkhei Angom Leikai.
The exemplary courage shown by the three revolutionaries in the gun-battle reflected true features of revolutionary organisations of Manipur and WESEA, the statement said, adding that their courage and sacrifice for the motherland will be remembered forever by the people.
The UNLF also shared pain and grief of families of the martyred revolutionaries as well as to their friends and well-wishers.
