State projects discussed in Delhi: CM's post

Chief minister N Biren Singh and Youth Affairs & Sports minister Govindas Konthoujam, who are currently in New Delhi, met with Union Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs minister Kiren Rijiju to discuss construction of a world class football stadium in the state.
In a post on his social media account, CM Biren stated that he called on the union minister along with Govindas Konthoujam and other officials in New Delhi.
During the meeting, discussions were held on advancing major development projects in the state under the purview of Ministry of Minority Affairs.
The meeting also deliberated on establishing a world-class football stadium in Manipur to nurture talent and uplift sportspersons.
Biren also uploaded another post, informing that he chaired a meeting with the officials of PWD in the presence of minister Govindas and chief secretary Dr Vineet Joshi in New Delhi.
He added that productive discussion on effective execution of developmental works to enhance growth and sustenance in both urban and rural sectors was held, apart from deliberating on new projects which are in the pipeline.
