Relief items distributed to scribes, in C-zones

Imphal, May 18 2021: All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) distributed edible items along with face masks and hand sanitizers to 20 members of the Union who either tested positive for Covid-19 or are residing in containment zones on Tuesday.

BJP Kisan Morcha vice president and media cell convenor Dr Ksh Kala also handed over edible items to households of Khundrakpam AC in containment zones including Nongshum (12) and Yumnam Patlou (12) and Pangei Makha Leikai (1) which have been declared as virus affected zones.

The edible items were distributed by members of Covid-19 task force.

Arambai Agri and Allied Private Limited chairman Elangbam So-vid handed over essential items including edible items, medicine, face masks and hand sanitizers to Youth Development Association (YDA) Waiton Maning Leikai for distributing to households in Khun-drakpam AC, that have been notified as C-zones.

Later, YDA members distributed the said aid.

Similarly, BJP Manipur Pradesh State Council member Kh Ibomcha, who is also Covid 2nd Wave Fighting Task Force Lamlai Mandal chairman, handed over edible items and monetary aid to 12 families of Chalou and 16 families of Napet both under Lamlai AC that have been notified as containment zones after member(s) of the families tested positive for Covid-19.Meanwhile, political activist Sa-pam Kangleipal extended monetary aid, face masks and hand sanitizers to volunteers of Community Health Isolation Centres set up in Lamlai AC.

He handed over the aid during an inspection visit to the centres.

Sardar Patel High School head master H Priyobarta handed over edible items to 100 families of Sekmai AC that have been notified as containment zones including Haorang Khunou, Sanjenbam, Tera Urak, Lamlongei, Phumlou, Senjam Chirang, Senjam Khunou and Loi-tang Khunou.
