Mass vaccination in border villages continues

Moreh PHC Covid vaccination team led by MO in-charge Dr Kh Shan-tikumar Singh is continuing to conduct mass COVID-19 vaccination in the interior border villages of Tengnoupal district since July 1 .
The team vaccinated a total of 282 people against COVID-19 on Monday.
The team inoculated 39 villagers of T Yangnom, 25 of Yangng-outubi, 118 of Langkichoi village and 100 at PHC Moreh.
Since July 1, the team has been visiting interior areas of Tengnoupal district despite poor road conditions and vaccinating people under the aegis of Tengnoupal district administration.
The vaccination programme at T Yangnom village conducted jointly with village authority and KSO Moreh block was inspected by ADC Moreh K Jadumani Singh SDO Moreh I Dinesh-kumar and their staff.
Kuki Chiefs' Association Tengnoupal district general secretary L S Seikhojang Baite has expressed his desire for conducting mass COVID-19 vaccination programme in all the villages particularly Kuki inhabited ones in Tengnoupal district.
He also thanked PHC Moreh team led by MO in-charge Dr Kh Santikumar Singh and his staff for coming to conduct mass vaccination programmes in interior villages despite poor condition of road and communication network.
KSO Moreh block president Sasang Hmar also thanked the team for conducting mass vaccination programmes in border villages and appealed to government to make sure that there is no shortage of vaccine.
