Kanggui, May 29 2013:
Kuki National Front, a SoO signatory with the Govt, has denied the alleged involvement of the organization in the Bongbal Kholen firing incident in the midnight of 27 May, 2013 .
In a statement, LH Stephen, Information and Publicity Secretary of the outfit, clarified that as per the SoO ground rules, all the cadres and weapons of the outfit have been kept intact at its designated camp.
The accusation is being hurled to malign the good name and dignity of the organization, Stephen asserted, adding that Kuki National Front cannot accept the formation of any new underground outfit when the peace and political dialogue is on with the Govt.of India.
Stephen appealed to all Kuki UGs, Civil Organizations, Political leaders and the general public not to extend any support, morally or financially to the self titled Kuki National Front (Nehlun) led by one Henkholen @ James Kipgen in the interest of peace.
He also appeals to all the local dailies and the state media houses to stop quoting Kuki National Front (KNF) as KNF(P) since there is no organization called KNF(P).
