PFA inspects Thingba Khunou

In connection to the death of 21 catties at Thingba Khunou, a team from People For Animals (PFA) Manipur had visited the affected village yesterday, said PFA.
Earlier, a team from the State Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department had also visited Thingba Khunou to examine the exact caused of the death.
The team from PFA Manipur has conducted postmortem on the lifeless cattle but no immediate cause of death can be established so far, however a PFA doctors suspects that the cattle might have died due to cardiac arrest.
An investigation is still going on to ascertain the exact cause of death by the department, it added.
Medicines were also handed over to village chairman PT Tholi and Buffalo Central Colony chairman CP Liba by PFA for the treatment of the cattle.
