Koireng-led UNLF mourns loss of 3 cadres

The Koireng-led United National Liberation Front (UNLF) and its armed wing Manipur People's Army (MPA) expressed deep condolences over 'loss of revolutionaries' in an incident on October 23 and offered revolutionary salute to the trio.
According to a statement issued by Koireng-led UNLF's publicity secretary M Shak-Hen, RPF/PLA Capt Oinam Gulu alias Babu, s/o Oinam Kunjo and Pishak of Kadamtala, Jiribam; PREPAK (Progressive) Capt Wahengbam Sopaiba alias Saratkumar, s/o W Deba and Memcha of Hiyanglam Awang Leikai, and L/Cpl Nongmaithem Nongdon alias Bonysana, s/o N Raju and Sangita of Wangkhei Angom Leikai, shed their blood for the motherland during a gun-battle on October 23 .
All the three revolutionaries, part of the combined force of revolutionaries fighting to restore lost sovereignty of Manipur, were martyred while fighting courageously in a gun-battle against a combined team of Indian security forces and an armed group raised and sponsored by India, alleged the publicity secretary, adding that the supreme sacrifice made by the trio and their unwavering dedication for restoration of Manipur's sovereignty will be remembered forever.
While describing demise of the three as a great loss for the entire revolutionary organisations fighting for the people, UNLF and MPA also shared the pain and grief of families of all the slain revolutionaries, their friends and well-wishers.
