BSF sets up BPKP canteen

Bishnupur, October 11 2024: The Theatre Headquarters (THQ) 131 Battalion Border Security Force deployed at Sugnu has set up a Central Police Canteen (CPC) Outlet under the Bharatiya Prakritik Krishi Paddhati (BPKP) scheme for the inmates of Serou and Sugnu relief camps.

Led by KS Nautiyal, Commandant, 131 Bn BSF, the canteen was set up to provide essential items to the inmates.

Additionally, a Ram Navami bhandara (food distribution event held on Ram Navami) was also organised by 131 Bn BSF at Sugnu A Coy location with large public participation.

Meira paibis as well as civil and police administration including CAPFs deployed in the area participated in the regional function.

Inmates of the relief camp conveyed gratitude for the BSF's efforts and urged them to send the canteen items on regular intervals.
