Mass vaccination held in Kakching district

Kakching, July 07 2021: Under the supervision of Kakching MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar; Kakching District Health Society in collaboration with Covid Task Force, Kakching Moirangthem Leikai organised a Mass Covid Vaccination programme at Kakching Khullen Ibudhou Khamlangba Laikol in Kakching Moirangthem Leikai on Wednesday.

A team led by Community Health Centre, Kakching Wairi MO in-charge Dr Kshetrimayum Sumati in association with the vaccination team of Community Health Centre, Kakching and ASHAs vaccinated 310 people during the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Rameshwar informed that a similar vaccination programme will be organised at Kakching Chumnang Leikai on Thursday and appealed to all eligible people to get vaccinated.

On the other hand, under the aegis of CMO Kakching, District Health Society, Kakching and Citizens' Association For Rural Development (CARD), Wabagai in association with WES Club Wabagai Thingel Leikai organised another Covid-19 Mass Vaccination programme at Wabagai Thingel Leikai Community Hall on Wednesday, wherein 250 people were vaccinated.

On Tuesday, a similar programme was held at YDA Keirak Maning Leikai ground, wherein 210 people were vaccinated, conveyed a release by CARD Wabagai general secretary Maibam Manishwar Khuman.

Meanwhile, District Health Society, Kakching under the supervision of Hiyan-glam AC MLA Dr Radheshyam Yumnam organised a mass vaccination programme at Laimanai and Tezpur in Hiyanglam AC on Wednesday.
