UCM provides dinner to COVID-19 patients at RIMS and JNIMS

Imphal, July 02 2021: United Club Manipur (UCM) has provided dinner to COVID-19 patients at RIMS and JNIMS today on the eve of its 21st foundation day.

A team pf UCM volunteers led by its president, Joy chandra Konthoujam handed over the dinner packs to Prof A Santa, Director RIMS for distribution to COVID-19 patients currently recovering from the virus at RIMS.

Dinner packs were also handed over to Prof Nandeibam Kameshwor, Additional Medical Superintendent for Covid patients at JNIMS.

Speaking after handing over the dinner packs, Joychandra Konthoujam said COVID-19 has claimed the lives of many individuals including many prominent figures in various fields.

He also wished the people currently recovering from the virus at hospitals, CCC, CHIC and at home for a speedy recovery.

Joychandra Konthoujam also thanked all the frontline workers who have been working selflessly for the safety of the masses during the pandemic and urged the public to observe all SOP and get vaccinated at the earliest.

RIMS and JNIMS thanked UCM for the assistance.
