MLA Nemcha celebrates New Year

Kangpokpi, January 02 2022: As part of her visit to all churches during the festive season, MLA Nemcha Kipgen joined the people of Haijang in the New Year celebration as most churches winded up the celebration in Kang pokpi AC on Sunday.

Nemcha was accompanied by Kangpokpi Town Committee members to Haijang village, where a special blessing ceremony for the MLA was organised by the church with ordained deacons and church leaders prayed for her wellbeing and successful leadership in the constituency.

In her address, Nemcha thanked the church for their prayers while expressing disappointment over absence of proper road connectivity in the village.

She then assured to do the needful for constructing a bridge over the Gundung river.

Emphasising on the importance of having a proper and good road map for society to move on the right track, the MLA said that Bible is the best road map for Christians as gospel (Bible) is the best guidance to bring the society into the right track.

She also stressed on the vital role of women in society, stating that when mothers in the families and women in the societies are dedicated to prayer and pray sincerely for society, God will answer prayers and prosper the society.
